2009 Grey Gelding 16.2hh
Reg.Canadian Warmblood (Pending)
1st part of video - 3rd time free jumping - ever!
2nd - schooling dressage late this summer with new rider.
3rd- 1st time jumping outside and first time schooling a course! Taken this fall
He is now schooling changes and starting small grids etc. Good outside to hack - he is ready to go to his next home.
Houdini (‘Dini’) is going well undersaddle and is ready to start showing. Dini has an awesome floating, flat kneaded trot and a huge rhythmic canter that eats the lines up..... not to mention jumping scope and technique!
Dini was professionally started as a 3 1/2 yr old by the well-known trainer Kent Williamson (winner of the 2014 Trainers Challenge - Red Deer) for three months and has since been brought along by a capable amateur rider with the supervision of a trainer. He is solid on the flat (1st level dressage) and has been lightly started over fences. He is light and responsive to ride, but not a hot head. Very comfortable gaits and super easy over fences! Not suitable for a beginner and not a schoolmaster – he is a highly talented and rideable youngster with a great foundation that needs someone that has the ability to finish him into something special.
Houdini’s Hanoverian bred Dam also produced the highly successful Hunter gelding ‘Batik’. Batik is also a young horse I bred and started - so gives you an idea of the horses I produce. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-of3uENOByM check him out on video! who was marketed for over $200,000 and Dini shows the same talent. His is sired by the well known warmblood stallion Herder.
He cross-ties, loads and trailers etc. No soundness issues of any kind. Super feet – can be barefoot.
