With his kind, easy going temperament and a pedigree that combines the best of dressage and jumping blood, Ikendy MM (Kenny) should mature to be an excellent "all-rounder" allowing him to excel in the discipline of your choice.
Both his sire and dam are known for producing wonderful, willing and kind temperaments and Kenny is no exception. As a yearling, he leads, stands for the farrier, trailers and even allows us to clip inside his ears with no fuss.
He has nice movement and conformation,and has also shown us he likes to jump and appears to have good form over low poles, as you can see at the end of his July 2014 video.
Kenny is tall and long legged with good bone and we expect him to mature around 17H. He has a sweet face and a very kind eye and is a barn favorite.
Ikendy MM's sire is Rubignon (Rubenstein/Donnerhall-Pik Solo)who was listed for the Swedish Dressage team in 2008 and 2009 and has 17 GP wins and placings, including international wins to his name. He is approved with multiple registries and tested in Sweden with 9's for jumping. "His temperament is superb, true to his sire, his movement is even better than Rubenstein," said German Oldenburg judge, Evelin Vollsted during Rubignon's licensing. He stamps his foals with fantastic temperament, character and type.
Sarenia-O, Ikendy's KWPN imported dam, is by Zeoliet (Keur) who was rated high in both the jumper and dressage indexes ranking him in the select group of all-rounders within the studbook for both dressage and jumping. At his stallion performance test, Zeoliet received 9.2 in dressage and 9 and 9.5 in jumping. He is the sire of many Grand Prix jumpers like Escudo, Supercruise, Junbo and Elando. He was also sire to a large number of top level dressage horses of which Dotato, Neoliet, Leoliet and Favorlet are renowned horses. Zeoliet's offspring are in high demand with specialized professionals in both disciplines. Kenny's dam,Sarenia-O is out of Wimona who was shown both in dressage (4th level) and in show jumping in Holland. Sarenia never competed due to a pasture injury as a yearling.
