I'm Naturally Grey, aka "Banjo" is one of the funnest horses we have in our stables! Being a Quarter Horse Banjo is the odd ball out since most of our horses are warmbloods. However, Banjo is perfectly capable of holding his own in tough dressage competition. Last year, at only 3 years old and at his first ever dressage competition he managed to win or place in all of his classes with scores in the 70% range. Banjo was shown all last year in Training level and First Level, placing and winning many times.
Banjo is often mistaken for a Warmblood with his long legs and elegant appearance under saddle. He's a lovely mover, very easy on the bit and rock steady. He looks like a Warmblood but has the laid back attitude of the Quarter Horse.
Currently Banjo is schooling counter canter, flying changes and lateral work. Banjo has also been started over fences and shows great talent as a hunter. Banjo is joy on the trail and hacks out on the buckle. He has excellent groundmanners, travels well and is low maintenance. Just a great horse for somebody who wants a fancy sporthorse but with the Quarter Horse mind.
