"Indy" is a 5 y.o. prospect for jumpers or dressage, suitable for a professional or highly advanced amateur. She is early in her training and needs to be patiently and carefully developed. Please no inquiries unless you would be a match in this respect.

Indy is a beautiful young mare with excellent conformation and striking markings - 4 white socks and a big blaze.  She has been started carefully, handled and trained by professionals since birth, and is currently in training with Ursula Lange in the dressage ring. I have ridden her over some small fences. Indy has potential to achieve the top levels of sport horse competition and has attended some shows as a companion horse. Indy is well-mannered and an easy keeper. I am offering her for sale because I no longer own horse property so I need to downsize the number of horses I own.

Her dam, Onceover (Latano II/Caletto II/Calpyso II) has an outstanding pedigree that includes many famous Holsteiner stallions: Latano II, Landgraf, Ladykiller, Capitano, Caletto II, Cor de la Bryere, Calypso II, and others. Stamm 4, produced one of today's most successful and versatile Holsteiner stallions, Riverman.  Onceover's dam's sire, Caletto II, produced numerous international show jumpers, including Classic Touch, who won individual gold at the Olympics in Barcelona, and 11 approved Holsteiner stallions.   

Her sire, Albarez (Alcatraz / Loutano / Fernando / Mephisto Stamm 95), imported from Germany, stands 16.3 hands and has an excellent mind, coupled with superb athletic talent. He possesses the scope of a top jumper, but the style and smoothness of a top hunter. He has beautiful long legs and lines, and wonderful elastic gaits. AHis sire, Alcatraz, won his 100 day test in Germany and is known for producing excellent jumpers and very rideable horses. Albarez’s dam’s sire, Loutano by Landgraf, was a top dressage horse and produces excellent movement. This mother line is extremely rideable with outstanding jump and movement.  Albarez has competed through the grand prix level with his amateur owner.
