Zantos is a joy to have in the barn! He is quiet and easy to handle and even more of a joy to ride and train! He was imported just over a year ago and we fell in love the moment he arrived. He works well inside, outside and even enjoys a good trail ride to cool out. He is very sensitive and still a bit green at this stage so he would do best with a confident quiet rider that has a strong program. He has been on several off property field trips (both overnight and haul in haul out) and has been an absolute star. We have turned him out with other geldings but not mares yet as he was gelded right before he came to the US. He has never stepped a foot out of line and takes new experiences very well! Although I would not say he is bombproof he is very reasonable and does not have any naughty behavior both under saddle and on the ground.
He is working on second level with a very balanced counter canter so I have just started to introduce the idea of the flying change and he has begun work with half steps.
