Ixtapa is born in 2013 and stands 16.1HH tall. She is registered with Canadian Sporthorse and sired by “Kadans” out of a “Justice” dam line. Kadans is a Dutch stallion and former Grand Prix mount of Canadian Equestrian Team member Tom Dvorak. Kadans was sired by Bert Ruttens stallion El Corona, a well respected sire of FEI dressage horses, approved stallion and leader of KWPN breeding index with a 199 for dressage. Ixtapa’s dam line includes Grand Prix stallion Cocktail.

This mare has a lovely forward thinking brain with natural energy. She’s easy to get on the bit, light to the leg and comfortable to sit. Ixtapa knows the all the 3rd level movements and has started schooling some of the FEI movements and shows great talented and quality for the Passage and Piaffe. She has good ground manners and loves to be brushed and loved on.

Ixtapa would be a great mount for a serious AA rider or Jr/Yr looking to develop a horse into the FEI arena.
