Jane is a 9 year old, 17.1 hand thoroughbred. In her first career she had 14 starts on the track before she came to be a riding horse. She is very substantial with great movement, when people see her under saddle they almost always ask if she is a warmblood! Jane is wonderful to work with and has a great work ethic. Her biggest fault is that she also is her own worst enemy, with her long legs, short athletic back, and TB spirit, it is a chore keeping her from injury.

I have never been able to unlock Jane's true potential, and so it is time for Jane to find her new home. She can either be an amazing brood mare, bringing size, athleticism, and power to your breeding stock. Or she can perhaps be your next competition horse, if you can unlock the secret to keeping her consistent.

In January Jane completed her first Novice event with no jump penalties. She was a joy to ride at the show. Her greatest strength is in jumping where she is bold, brave, and clever. She is a blast to ride cross country!

The most important quality that Jane brings to your barn, whether it is as a brood mare, a riding partner, or a companion, is her extremely personable and sweet personality. She loves people, she falls asleep when she gets her shoes on, she loves to be pampered, she is the first to the gate when you walk to the pasture. She loves other horses, loves dogs, and loves her person

Jane is a challenging horse to keep content, she does best living with other horse friends and kept on legume-type feed. She will require extra grain or forage, currently keeps well on beet pulp/bran in addition to free choice.
