Janakos Darcy is a very intriguing young horse, purpose bred for eventing. WHY is he so intriguing you may ask. Well his sire Darwin IHE brings A Fine Romance (TB blood) mixed with Emilion (Dutch blood) A Fine Romance has produced A LITTLE ROMANCE the 2016 Olympic Mount for Jessica Pheonix. Emilion the Dam Sire of Darwin was the Perferent Stallion at VDL stud in Holland producing countless high level Jumpers He brings scope and carefulness into this pedigree.

The dam side is nothing to scoff at. His Dam Vendela is sired by the Dutch stallion Aram Producer of the 2000 Olympic jumping gold medal champion De Sjiem. Her Dam Wellesley was one of our first mares in the Janako breeding program, she came to us later in life and produced 2 outstanding horses. Her first daughter for us did not fail, her name is Kyra and she went on to do great things, Including being a top event mount for Michael Pollard and more recently Boyd Martin. She competed and won up to Advanced level, always bring home top dressage scores, and he made regular comments about her being the best jumping horse in his barn.

Darcy is proving to be true to his pedigree, he has beautiful gaits, brave attitude, smart and yet careful all at the same time. He's been very well handled and already leads, ties, clips, stands for the farrier and vet. He will be easy to start when the time comes, and is priced very fairly to help get him into a good home, and reduce numbers.

He is up to date on everything, and including having his wolf teeth removed, has good strong feet, and is sound.
