Jerro's dam sire Ferro was an Olympic finalist himself under Coby Van Baalen in 2000, and has since produced countless Grand Prix horses and Olympic medalists. He is known for producing powerful horses with a lot of talent for collection.
The combination of Lord Leatherdale and Ferro blood has produced some of the best horses in Europe in recent years including Chippendale, Everdale, Dilona, Dundee, Fairytale, Glamourdale, Hortensia, River Fise Escale, and others.
