Jetson is a very handsome modern type Dutch colt with lots of presence. He has outstanding supple movement with lots of elasticity. Jetson has a lovely, easy going temperament and is very friendly & great to work with. Extremely well bred with both jumping & dressage lines through both his sire, Sir Gregory (Sir Donnerhall x Don Gregory) and his dam, Bridget (Prestige VDL x Weltmeyer). By Silvano out of a Goodtimes mare, Prestige VDL has versatile bloodlines for both jumping and dressage. 16+ hh at 2 yrs. old, Jetson should mature around 16.2 to 16.3 hh.
Jetson’s sire, Sir Gregory passes on his striking good-looks and beautiful head and neck. He has very correct conformation and powerful gaits, with a lot of elasticity along with very good use of the hind leg. A high percentage of his foals have been awarded “Premium” at their foal inspection. Sir Gregory also has a very good temperament; he is kind, smart and learns quickly which goes hand and hand with his high rideability.
Sir Gregory's sire, Sir Donnerhall, was the 2nd reserve champion at the Oldenburg stallion licensing in 2003, he then went on to win his 70 day test at Adelheidsdorf in 2005 with a dressage index of 163. In 2005 Sir Donnerhall was named the "Hauptprämien" champion in Oldenburg. In 2006 Sir Donnerhall was the reserve champion at the 2006 World Championships for young dressage horse in Verden, and then was the Bundeschampion for 5 year olds dressage horses in Warendorf, Germany. In 2008 Sir Donnerhall had the highest index of dressage stallions with 182 points.
Sir Gregory's dam, Premiere, is also the dam of two State Premium mares, a 2004 approved stallion, Don Romio. Following Sir Gregory, Premiere went on to produce a 2008 licensed stallion sired by Sandro Hit who was also the second highest selling dressage stallion at the stallion auction following the licensing in Oldenburg (second only to the dressage licensing champion). Premiere's sire is the successful Grand Prix dressage stallion Don Gregory. Don Gregory was not only a successful dressage competitor but is also a highly sought after sire. He has sired numerous licensed sons, champion stallions, State Premium, Brilliantring and Champion mares, top auction horses, Bundeschampions and World Champions.
Jetson’s dam, Bridget, is by Prestige VDL (Silvano x Goodtimes) out of the elite Hanoverian mare, Whoopi (Weltmeyer x Lungau). Prestige VDL was champion of his stallion test. He competed with Edward Gal scoring 70%+ in international competition, & is now successfully competing at Grand Prix in Australia with Sheridyn Ashwood; winner of the Sydney CDI 2013 GP Freestyle. Prestige VDL is the sire of the approved stallion, Penthagon and many Premium and First Premium mares. His daughter, Beatrice VDL was selected out of approximately 1000 fillies of 2006 to compete in the KWPN National Foal Championships, finishing in 3rd place. His daughter, Ballerina was the top foal of her inspection, while another daughter, Bling, made the USA top ten foal list. Prestige VDL stamps his progeny strongly, producing powerful gaits, correct conformation and horses that move uphill with a lot of power from the hind leg with a strong canter. They are known for their willingness to work and unrivalled temperament and character.
The sire of Prestige VDL, Silvano, needs no introduction after starring with Ellen Bontje for the Dutch Team at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
