Josie is an athletic young mare with breathtaking movement and a scopey forward jump. She has primarily shown in jumpers but has good basic flatwork and would be a super dressage prospect with her floating movements and adjustable stride and ability to collect. Has changes, lateral movements, some collection and lengthening, etc.

She has shown in local and A rated jumper classes to 1.20m/4' so far, bravely showing tons of scope, speed, ability and carefulness. She is extremely brave and bold, and will make a top jumper for an ambitious rider. This quality young horse can go in any direction.

Josie competed successfully in the 5yo Young Jumper Classes in 2011, with good placings even in her first couple shows at the very competitive KY Horse Park show series. Due to owner health problems she didn't show until summer, and went right in and jumped around the more advanced 5yo courses without batting an eyelash. She has more than enough ability to move into the High Jr/AOs and beyond, as the 5yo 1.15-1.20m classes are VERY easy for her.

She is a fun and beautiful mare with ability to reach the top of any sport. She is extremely brave and will take her rider down to the jumps, so will do best with a confident junior, amateur, or pro. She is not hot or difficult in any way, but does enjoy her job in the jumper ring. On the flat she is a normal leg to hand ride, or will hack along on a loose rein if preferred.
