Black Half Arabian Spanish Filly born June 3, 2013. Solid black, except on back pasterns. Lovely long black mane and beautiful thick tail. Sire is Tar Pistol Pete a proven Arabian endurance horse stallion. Dam was my personal Spanish mare. Both parents black. Home bred and born in Colorado at 7500 feet in the mountains. Loved and handled from birth. Has had lots of experiences. Ponied on trails from 1-3 years of age. At age 3 sent away to 9 months of professional training under saddle by a top trainer. $9000 invested in training alone. She has also had light cart training work and has her own handmade harness which has never been used. She spent this past summer as a 10 year old child’s trail horse and a lesson horse for a 5 year old girl. Suitable for anyone to ride as she will only go and do as much as the rider asks. I trust her with children and novice riders. But, when pushed by a good rider she can give a lot and has so much untapped talent. She seems to know whose on her back. She even did a months work of equine assisted therapy work for children with disabilities this summer filling in for one of my older horses. Brave, fearless, confident and competitive. No spook or buck ever. She stands for farrier and to be bathed and loads like a dream and quiet while trailering. She even drinks water on the road or on a ride. Turning 5 years old June 3, 2018. She would be an excellent trail/endurance horse and there is no work for you, but conditioning her. You can put her into next years rides. She was started correctly and with love and patience. Her trainer said “if all horses were like her it would make her job easy.” Affectionate with people and children and loves attention. Will seek you out for attention and come to you when called. She falls asleep when you braid her mane. She is a alpha mare in my herd of subordinate older geldings. I’m told she gets along fine in a mare herd, but tends to be at the top of the herd while away from my farm at training. She rides and drives. Would be a cute hunter pony or cart pony. Has had dressage, jumping, trail, endurance, trick training and cart training. She is my baby, I’ve invested a lot into her training and care thinking I would keep her for my own. But, she needs her own person who can work with her as their primary mount. I have a herd of 6 geldings and her (the only mare) and all the geldings lose their minds when she leaves their site or comes into season. She doesn’t care about other horses as long as she is the center of attention. She will ride out alone or leave the property alone. Unfortunate for me I must sell her because in my heart I know she will have such potential with someone else and not be the 8th horse. It’s a great opportunity for the right person because my boy horses are nuts about her and it’s causing the dynamic at my farm to be a hassle. She has clean set of x rays from this June 2017 on all four legs hoof to hock. She still had some growing to do so we have let her hang out this Fall/winter to grow and mature. Excellent hard feet (from her mother), always has been barefoot.
Wolf teeth pulled, full Dental done this summer and current on all vaccinations and care. Easy keeper, currently not in work so only gets hay. Recommended for a smaller rider as she is 14.3 hands. She might grow to 15 hands. References will be required for this special mare.
