Sire: Banderas is a very typey and athletic stallion, with a lovely expression, clearly stamped by in looks by his sire.
Banderas has three very good athletic gaits, and shows a huge amount of jumping potential, he jumps in classic form, and shows a lot of scope. He also has a very good temperament and good nature.
Banderas is sired by Balou du Rouet, son of Baloubet! Balou’s offspring are highly sought after at foal and riding horse auctions in Germany and abroad and more than 40 of his sons are licensed. As a young horse, Balou du Rouet won several classes for young show jumpers and was successful in the final qualifier at the Bundeschampionship. Son, Banderas comes from a very strong dam line through dam Grisette he combines some of the best bloodlines available. His dam sire is the legendary Grannus, one Germany's greatest sires with over five million DM in earnings, he is also the sire a multiple international and Olympic jumpers. Great Grand sire is the Elite international stallion Beach Boy. His eight approved sons and 239 competitive offspring have earned him a BlUP score of 141 for both jumping and gaits.

Banderas is clearly stamping his foals; they are reliably beautiful, athletic, leggy modern types with pretty heads, correct conformation, powerful elastic movement with very unique white markings. The Banderas foals are also proving to be very friendly, people oriented, easy to handle and train. Banderas has sired numerous top foals, Premium foals and Foals of distinction. He is a Leading Sire of Premium Foals for Hunter/Jumper stallions with the Oldenburg Verband in North America in 2011 and 2012.

Dam: Quartz F. M. (Ster) is an imported, Belgian bred mare. She is a robust, strong and powerful mare; with a calm and kind temperament. Her conformation is correct, she is a lovely mover, and she free jumps with style, scope and power! She was awarded the Ster predicated from the KWPN, and earned 8’s on her Jumping Scope & Technique.

She is a wonderful producing daughter of the KWPN stallion Kannan, who is currently the #1 sire of International Showjumpers on the WBFSH standings!
Quartz’s dam Colett is a Holsteiner daughter of Losander, a Lord son, out and out of a Caletto II mother. Her dam is a maternal sister to the Approved Oldenburg Stallion, Le Vainqueur. Quartz's damline is all Holsteiner, (Stam 5382) and has produced winning sporthorses as well as the Approved breeding stallions, LeVainqueur, Ladas, Caballero and Casco.

Quartz has produced several premium foals, her oldest, Stevie Wonder by Stolzenburg was the 4yr old Canadian National Young horse Jumper Champion in 2009! Her 2014 colt by Quinar was #3 Nationally of all KWPN Jumper foals!
