2017 Holsteiner filly, Kontefina Fly HH. By Contefino and out of the Grand Prix jumping mare Hy Fly (Capitol I/Sacramento Song). We have retained Kontefina's older, full-sister Hy Hopes HH, our Main Mare Premium Holsteiner mare, so we are offering Kontefina for sale. Kontefina is a sporty type, very correct in her conformation, movement and jumping form. She’s a solid good citizen; always willing to do what’s asked of her, no drama involved. She has recently been backed and has been very straightforward, with a character and temperament second to none.
Could go hunter OR jumper. Kontefina loads easily, has been off the farm to show, stands for the farrier, lives in or out, in company or not, happily. She currently stands at 15.3 1/2 and should mature around 16.1.

Sire: Contefino (Contender/Corofino)
Contefino was known throughout Europe for his remarkable jumping ability. He successfully competed at 1.60m in Europe. Contefino has already proven himself as a very successful sire even with a relatively small amount of offspring, having produced numerous horses jumping 1.45m and over, including the stallion Contecord, jumping at 1.55m and Contessina della Caccia, jumping 1.50m. He is also the sire of rising young stars, such as Ashlee Bond's Young Jumper Champion Contefina, as well as several horses successful in the hunter rings. In addition he is also the sire of several approved stallions.

Dam: Hy Fly (Capitol I/Sacramento Song xx)
Hy Fly is a product of the classic Holsteiner cross of Capitol I/Sacramento Song xx. She jumped successfully at the Grand Prix level and comes from a strong family of jumping talent. Her dam, Miranda, was shown under the name of Chicoa in both international level eventing AND showjumping. Hy Fly is also the maternal half-sister to Chico S-R, a showjumper and licensed stallion in Germany, as well as a maternal half -sister to international jumper Van Schijndel's Iranda, under the saddle of Piet Raymaker.
