Kosmo is a 12-year-old 17.2hh Friesian gelding by Ster Stallion Lolke 371, his sire and dam were awarded Ster Predicate. Kosmo received high remarks from the judge regarding his conformation and movement at inspections.

Kosmo has three beautiful and powerful gaits, His canter is a dream to ride, with lots of power for sit and push. He is a first level horse and is schooling 2nd level movements, he also LOVES cavetti. Kosmo likes to hack around, he isn’t spooky if you allow him to look at what he is thinking about. Once he has a good look at it he looks back at his rider for a pat and then walks on. True trail riding he likes a good trail boss to lead the way. Kosmo is extremely intelligent and a quick learner. Kosmo is not a horse for beginners (must be able to WTC) as he needs a rider that can give him consistency (ride him 3 times per week and lessons). Kosmo had shown at training level when he was younger and had scores in the mid 60s, I showed him about 1.5 years ago at 1st level and he scored 66%.

Kosmo has wonderful ground manners and is a true gentleman for anyone handling him! He baths, clips, trailers, hard ties, or cross ties, and stands wonderfully for the farrier. He goes in a double joint snaffle or a kimberwick. Kosmo is UTD on teeth, shots, and deworming. Very easy keeper. He is shod right now because he is in full training, but he has been barefoot in the past and done well. Goes in a stall or a paddock fine. Very sweet gelding looking for his person to have fun with. Loves to be dotted on with grooming, braiding, cookies etc.

His owner is only selling him because he is just too big for her and she just doesn’t have the stability in her riding seat that he needs, he was on the market a year ago and the owner decided to take the ads down and keep him. But with life circumstances changing he is back on the market. Not a mean bone in his body, he doesn’t have any nasty moves to unseat you. He has a lofty big trot, and a great rhythmic canter.
