La Comtesse (Tess) is a 12-year-old mare by Landonn (Holsteiner). She has breeding papers (registration) from Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar International. She was rewarded with Premium Silver as a foal. She has been owned and ridden by the same adult amateur since 2014 when she was 3 years old. She has been in training with dressage trainers since the beginning and is currently in full training in Delray Beach, Florida. She is currently training piaffe/passage (already well established), canter half passes and canter pirouettes. Tess has competed with her owner in dressage up to 3rd level (her owner was able to achieve all scores for the bronze medal with just a few rated competitions). She also competed in a few hunter/jumper (non-rated) shows up to 3ft/80cm. She is a very healthy, athletic, reliable and sweet horse. She behaves the same way at showgrounds as at home and has done many successful trailer-ins. She has had very regular veterinary care with all vaccinations, deworming, regular dental care and optimized nutrition/supplements all her life. She has a wonderful work ethic (can be ridden safely by the owner's now 12-year-old child) and is very sweet with other horses. She has absolutely no marish behavior. She has never had lameness or colic in the last 9 years while with the current owner. She has no vices. She is an ideal partner for an adult amateur or older junior rider who wants a safe, sweet, reliable and well-trained horse for the lower-level dressage or hunter/jumper ring.
