Labyrinth FCF is a stunning gelding born May 2014 by Holsteiner stallion LaMarque out of Cuba (Continue/Weinberg/Pilot). He is a friendly, outgoing, and athletic foal!
LaMarque (Lansing/Lord Calando/Ahorn Z) was imported from Germany as a young stallion. He earned perfect 10’s for technique, scope and willingness in free-jumping at his stallion approvals, and has numerous wins and top finishes at the Grand Prix level.
Cuba is papered Hanoverian and approved for breeding with the AHHA. She was imported from Germany as a sporthorse and competed successfully through Grand Prix, including many years in the Jr/AO jumpers with an amateur rider. Her mareline has produced numerous jumpers competing at 1.6m, and Cuba herself is a half-sister to a Hanoverian Verband approved stallion (Laith), a WBFSH-ranked 1.6m gelding (Leszek), and the highest-priced jumper stallion (200,000 euro) of the 2009 Hanoverian Verband auction.
I specifically bred Cuba to LaMarque in order to replicate the L-line cross that has proven successful in Cuba's family.
Labyrinth promises to be a top jumper prospect, not only combining excellent jumper pedigrees but also parents that both have successful show records themselves. I anticipate a mature height of 17h and modern but not overly refined.
Jumping photos shown are of dam Cuba. Visit Wild Turkey Farm for photos and video of LaMarque.
