Bred by Jan Marquardt, Walkabout Station; Produced by USDF Sporthorse Breeder of the Year: Sierra Downs Sporthorse Farm, LLC
Lady Sioux WS is a refined 2021 Hanoverian mare by the late Grand Prix stallion Lingh and out of Dakotah WS (by Dancier)—a Hanoverian Gold Medal Foal and Premium-Eligible Mare (completed mare inspection - Premium credential pending MPT and first foal).
This beautifully-presented bay mare stands 16.0 hands with a feminine head, three socks, a striking stripe, and the power and elasticity to match her pedigree.
Started carefully and correctly under saddle, Lady Sioux has begun showing in Baby Green Hunters over fences and already has a solid foundation of under-saddle show miles. Prior to that, she was a standout on the line with extensive in-hand experience in the USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes, with high placings.
She’s brave, willing, and kind—with a soft mouth, rideable gaits, and the feel of a bigger horse under saddle.
Both her sire Lingh (Flemmingh x Columbus) and damsire Dancier (De Niro x Lancier) are now deceased, making this pedigree an increasingly rare blend of elite dressage and all-around athleticism. Lingh competed at the international Grand Prix level under Edward Gal, while Dancier is known for stamping modern, rideable horses with excellent hindleg activity and FEI potential.
Lady Sioux WS offers:
>> Premium Hanoverian breeding and inspection success
>> Dual talent in dressage and hunter-type movement
>> Quiet temperament with a show record to back it
>> A rare and valuable genetic profile for future breeding
This young mare is a compelling prospect for a junior, amateur, or professional looking for quality, versatility, and future broodmare value.
