3 Diamonds Farm is proud to present for a client: Lamborghini (lovingly called Lambo for short)! This stunning horse is an 8 year old, 16.2hh, American bred, DHH gelding that can be registered KWPN and ADHHA. Lambo is a beautiful, striking bay/paint with three socks, a stocking, and a pretty white blaze. He is built uphill and has really nice bone. Lambo is a very sweet horse and a talented mover under saddle. He has quite a bit of scope and is an impressive jumper too. He is out of a Manno mare and his sire is a son of Patajn, which is a branch off the Gelderlander breed. With such nice breeding, it’s no wonder Lambo is turning into such a talented sport horse!

Lambo is owned by his breeder and produced intentionally for resell. He was started later in life, as a 6 year old, so he has only had about two years under saddle so far. Lambo has been bought along carefully and correctly, starting his career learning groundwork and desensitizing. As he has developed, he has become quite a nice riding horse. He is going nicely on the flat - walk, trot, and canter, and learning basic lateral work. Currently produced by an upper level eventer, Lambo is working on his jumping skills, jumping courses at beginner novice height with ease (and with scope for so much!). Even though he is green jumping, he is brave, forward thinking to the jumps, and unconcerned with rider mistakes around a course. Lambo has been out cross country schooling and tackled ditches, water, banks, etc. like a pro! He also has been off property to little jumper shows and had several clear rounds at beginner novice height.

Lambo has a really sweet pet personality in the barn. He has great ground manners and stands nicely on the cross ties, on the trailer, and at the mounting block. Perfect for the vet and farrier. Easy to groom and tack. He has very good feet and only wears four shoes. He has no maintenance, isn’t on any supplements, and has never had any health issues. He is also up to date on everything, including all his shots, coggins, dental, deworming, etc. Easy to have in the barn and loves to hack out too. And he doesn’t mind working outside all the horrible weather conditions Virginia is currently having, including constant rain and wind. His farm is also a busy place with lots of action; from a ton of riders coming and going, many dogs running around, and lots of loud farm animals (including both screaming goats and sheep). Lambo is also easy in turnout and happy to live out or in. Currently, he is mostly out 24/7 and does great in his turnout group. He has no vices.

Lambo would be a fantastic match for a number of different riders. A good riding teen, ammy, or even a professional would enjoy producing such a kind horse for jumping, eventing, dressage, or even foxhunting (or anything in-between). While Lambo is athletic, light, and forward thinking, he is rideable and has been ridden by almost everyone at his current barn (including ammys). He has even tagged in and taught a few lessons! He is a barn favorite and loved by everyone. While Lambo is super rideable and fun, he can have a look, little scoot, or a spook at things from time to time. Mainly, something will simply catch his attention and he’ll stare or crane his neck up to look at it. Lambo would never do anything naughty though and has never bucked or reared. He is an incredibly safe horse and ready to find his person. This truly is an incredible opportunity for someone to have an amazing horse for the future.
