Looking for your next dressage partner in grande size? Introducing Latham, a 2015 registered Oldenburg gelding. Latham (Lagoheidor x Urielle) was awarded Premium Status and recognized as a ‘foal of distinction’ at his inspection. His famous lineage needs little introduction. With Landgraf and Furioso II on his sire’s side meeting with the likes of Rolando and Banter from the damside mean that Latham has both athleticism and character going for him.

Latham has a lovely long free swinging stride and is very easy on the aids even though he is still growing into his 18 hh frame. Due to his large size, Latham professionally and lightly started as a 3 yr old and again ridden lightly as a 4 year old. He has just begun training as a 5 year old and is improving by the day. Because Latham’s growth needs are being respected he still has a lot to learn and experience, but his foundation is solid and correct. Latham has begun trailriding and is comfortable working in both an indoor and outdoor setting. He is ready to be formed into a wonderful partner.

Latham has a very loving personality and looks forward to interacting with people. He is a sponge and ready to learn. He is looking for a new forever home only because his one time owner is starting a family of her own and does not have time to give Latham the attention he deserves.

Latham is currently being offered for 14K which is not reflective of his quality, simply of his lack of experience. As his training continues, his price will increase.
