High Valley Hanoverians is pleased to offer for sale Legacy HVH to an exceptional dressage or hunter performance home. Legacy HVH (“Legacy”) is a handsome 2013 16.1H chestnut Hanoverian gelding by Lemony’s Nicket out of EM Radiance HVH. He has excellent conformation, correct movement, powerful, elastic gaits and superior temperament/trainability. He was backed in early 2017 and has completed a full year of dressage foundation training under saddle. He has not been shown due to owner’s health.

Legacy was bred for dressage. And, due to athleticism of parents could also do exceptionally well in the hunter ring. His sire, Lemony’s Nicket (Londonderry) was approved for breeding with a dressage score of 9.29 and a jumping score of 8.03. He as later gelded and started his performance career in earnest under Michael Klimke. Legacy’s dam, EM Radiance HVH (Rotspon) placed in the USDF Horse of the Year rankings nearly every year of her young life in-hand and holds the 2nd highest AHS Mare Performance Test Score ever given in the USA (including a perfect 10/10 in her jumping). Radiance’s full sister, EM Rebellienne HVH was the USDF Horse of the Year at age 3 (HOY under saddle and Reserve HOY in hand) and who was the 2013 USEF 4 yo Young Horse Dressage Champion and Region 1 USDF Champion. Legacy is already demonstrating his future dressage potential via his powerful gaits and exceptional trainability. He is yet to be tested in the free jumping chute.

Legacy is being raised / trained via the unique High Valley Hanoverians program “Developing Hanoverian Athletes in the Mind & the Body®”. This program is known for producing quality young dressage horses with a rock-solid dressage foundation, are in super physical condition due to the combined training and mountain hill work and have an exceptional work ethic due to being truly happy in their work. Legacy is flourishing in this program and is well on his way to demonstrating his performance potential.
