Lego is a big talent in a small package!
By Locksley I and out of Last Legion (TB), he has the scopey gaits of a warmblood and forward-thinking mind of a Thoroughbred. Donated to our dressage lesson program last year, he has unfortunately let us know that he would very much prefer just one partner to ascend the levels with, as he relies on his rider to give him confidence. (And when this horse is confident, he is a POWERHOUSE.)
People-oriented, in your pocket, and easy to handle on the ground, Lego is a barn favorite and is quite possibly the most cheerful horse on the property. He vacuums, clips, stands for the farrier, and you can turn him out or keep him in - he's happy either way. His eager-to-please personality does leave him susceptible to ulcers, but as long as he is kept on a proper maintenance program, he has no issues. He is 100% sound with low miles for his age and he easily passed his PPE prior to donation last year. Full health records available for review and lifetime registered USDF.
Due to his confidence issues, Lego is not for the timid or inexperienced rider and it is preferred that he go to an amateur or junior in a structured training program in order to ensure his ultimate success. His gaits are extremely comfortable, with an easy to sit trot and balanced canter, so a professional may also enjoy bringing him through the levels or developing him for a client. Were it not for his brief stopover in our program, he would undoubtedly be an FEI horse by now.
