Leipzig NSN started professional training in Quebec, May 2022, after the winter off. He has already won the admiration and heart of his trainer with his willingness, lightness in his feet, power, and “fabulous mouth”.
Leipzig NSN (Banderas x Never Say Never Keur Pref/Wanroij/MilkieXX), lightly backed in 2019 as a 3 year-old, lightly trained in summer 2020, allowed to grow and mature over the winter months of 2019 and 2020. Regular training started May 2021. This gelding is honest, with an excellent work ethic and eager to please. Like both parents, he has a very strong aptitude for jumping. He is very powerful behind, often requiring his rider to hang on to his mane for take-off over jumps. He is careful, with quick reflexes, and easily adjusts his strides. His canter has very good rhythm and is balanced. He has his changes. While a "watchdog" of his small herd in the pasture, "Ziggy" will stand and stare, and often approach what he is watching (ie. deer, dog). In the ring, he is very focused on the jumps. Testing scope has him clearing 1.3 meter oxer with ease.
