Lens V is an obnoxiously handsome 5 year old Belgian WB (Fantastique x Ahoy) gelding standing at 170 cm. Lens was imported in August and has recent clean X-rays and PPE report on file from his import. Will pass vet. From the moment he stepped off the plane, he has not put a single hoof wrong. As a three year old he was campaigned as a stallion prospect with good results (can be found under his name with some digging - in addition his full sister recently won the mare test in Holland), and that early exposure has left him with the most easy going wonderful temperament you could want from a 5 year old.

Lens does everything with ease - trailers, ties, stands for the vet and farrier, clips, bathes, etc. I have not trail ridden him but I would bet he would be absolutely sane. Lens loves to jump over poles and shows good form, and would most likely take to jumping/cross training easily. Lens went to a large show at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center to school two weeks after his import, and he was sensible in both indoor and outdoor arenas. This is a horse that walks around an unfamiliar property on a loose rein - no bolt, buck, or spook. Lens is very sweet and silly, and loves to be fussed over - he is the absolute favorite with all the barn staff. He is an easy keeper who doesn’t require any grain or additional supplements besides quality grass hay and a multivitamin.

Lens is absolutely stunning with TONS of presence, gorgeous coloring, compact and attractive conformation, and all the chrome a rider could want, topped off with a massively thick flaxen tail.
Lens competed T-1 & T-3 at his first show earlier this month, and even with a mistake at the canter in his first test, he took Open high point with scores of 79.13% and a 78.6%. His gaits have power, rhythm, suspension, and clear FEI quality - he scored 9 on gaits in both tests with wonderful feedback from the judge "A joy to watch, wonderful, powerful horse with good basics". Lens has an impressive natural rhythm and cadence, his gaits are free and strong, and while you feel them under saddle he is not “bouncy”. His canter is powerful and uphill and scored 9’s in each direction both tests. Lens is ready for 1st level and schooling many components of 2nd. He improves with every ride and is a willing horse to train. He gives a very solid and reassuring feeling to his rider, and is safe for an AA or Jr/YR.
