Leonidas-
3 year old, 16.2 h German Oldenburg (GOV) gelding by Lissaro (Lissabon-Matcho AA) out of Premium Mare Ceremonie (Fuerstenball/Epikur). Leo has ony been under saddle for a short while, but he is uncomplicated, and easy to ride and train. He shows a workmanlike attitude under saddle with a superior rideability and three good gaits. He is sweet to handle and takes everything in his stride. He can be your ticket to success in the show ring.
Leo's sire, Lissaro was licensed at the 2007 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing as a Premium stallion. He was also licensed by Rhineland and Westphalia. Lissaro did his 30-day performance test in 2008 in Munster-Handorf and scored 9.52 for dressage and 8.79 for show jumping as the high scorer of the testing. His scores
underlined his versatility for dressage and jumping. In 2008, as a three year old he was a finalist in the Hanoverian State Championships for the 3 year old Stallions in Verden and won. This was just the start of an incredible streak of championship wins which included the 2008 Bundeschampionate title for the 3 year old Stallions, the 2009 Bundeschampionate title for the 4 year old Stallions, 2010 Bundeschampionate title for the 5 year old Dressage Horses, and Silver Medalist at the World Champions for the 5 year old Dressage Horses! Aside from this, he also won various jumper classes for young horses at the A
and L levels in 2008 and 2009. For the 2012 breeding season the stallion was leased to the Hanoverian State Stud in Celle, where head rider Wolfhard Witte trained the horse up to S-level. The pair mainly competed at local shows between 2012 till 2016. An international career seemed off the table for the stallion. He topped the 2015 German FN dressage sire index with 173 points!
He was sold as a young rider horse in 2011, and was only lightly shown up to Prix St. George. He was retired from sport in 2021.
He has sired five licensed sons (Lilliano, Labbadio, Lassaro, Louis d'Or Gold, and 22 state premium daughters.

Leo's dam sire, Fuerstenball was the stunning champion stallion at the Oldenburger licensing in 2008, who sold for the record price of EUR 110,000 as
a foal at auction. He is known for his willingness, strong nerves and relaxed temperament with uphill and swinging movements. He won his Stallion
Performance Test with a total of 154.98 (16 times 9.0 or better, 10 for rideability). He won the German Championship for 5 year old riding horses in 2011 with a 9.5 for trot and general impression, 10 walk, and 9.0 canter and willingness- final score 9.4. Fuerstenball's sire, Fürst Heinrich, was the impressive 2003 winner of the World Championship of Five Year Old Dressage Horses, and he has produced many first-rate horses including 53 sons, and 64 advanced level horses. Fuerst Heinrich also presented an exceptional mare named Woodlanders Farouche, the 2011' World Champion for Young Dressage Horses. He has an FN breeding index with a score of 151. Fuerstenball's maternal grandsire, Donnerhall, is without a doubt a sire who himself and his offspring are successful in dressage.

Rolling Stone Farm

Warmblood breeder for 44 years. Owner of large Oldenburg (GOV) and Hanoverian breeding farm in eastern PA. Young, well started dressage horses and occasional hunter prospects always available. USDF Bronze, Silver, Gold, Sapphire, Ruby and Platinum Breeder of Distinction. I have produced 39 Elite Mares and Elite Mare Candidates, and 3 State Premium Mares for the Hanoverian Society, and 32 Special Premium mares and 17 Verbands Premium mares, 191 Premium Foals and 48 Foals of Distinction for the German Oldenburg Verband. I have produced 9 licensed stallions, including the fully licensed and approved stallion named Shakespeare RSF (winner of the 2009 70 day stallion test), a licensed stallion named Somer Hit, 3 licensed stallions in 2012 (one from the first foal crop of Shakespeare RSF- Shotgun, also Dheputy and a stallion in Germany), Fhitzgerald and Sir James (both imported from Germany and successfully completed the 70 day stallion test here in the US), another licensed stallion in 2014 named Shavane- the second licensed Shakespeare RSF son who is out of homebred EM Rheporter (Royal Prince/Weltmeyer). In 2015 another Shakespeare son was licensed- Shortstop, who was Grand Champion at a USDF breed show in 2015. I have bred four top 6 FEI Young Horse National Champions and multiple HOY winners in hand and in dressage, and four winners of the Young Hunters Under Saddle at Hunter Devon. We stand Shakespeare RSF (Sandro Hit/Arrian). I estimate I have bred about 450 foals to date, and I also sell young stock and up to 20-25 riding horses a year. Some of my horses are fourth and fifth generation from my own breeding program. I started out in hunters and jumpers and then rode dressage up to the PSG level, not competing much due to family and farm commitments. I finally received her USDF Bronze and Silver medals in 2018. My homebred Hanoverians and Oldenburgs have been top ten in national dressage rankings and have won many under saddle and in hand classes at many shows such as Dressage at Devon (Grand Champion 2011 and Reserve Grand Champion 2021), NEDA (Grand Champion 2021 and 2022) and the hunter show at Devon. I have produced numerous champions and reserve champions at many in hand shows and has been in the top 8 ranking for USDF Dressage Breeder of the Year since 2013, leading that category in 2020 and 2022. I was the 2016 and 2018 USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Breeder of the Year and have been in the top 16 since 2013. I have been the USEF Dressage Breeder of the Year every year 2014-2023 and was 2nd in that category from 2011-2013 and in 2022. In 2021 I was also the USEF Dressage Breeding Breeder of the Year and was in the top 4 for the USEF Dressage Sport Horse Breeder of the Year 2013- 2022. My greatest pleasure has been breeding suitable horses for the amateur market in the disciplines of dressage or hunter with an emphasis on rideability and movement.
