Libertad IX aka "Liberty" has a sweet, willing and calm temperament. She is schooling Second Level Dressage. She is in training with a USDF Gold Medalist and owned and ridden by a Vintage rider in USDF and schooling shows with scores in the high 60's. Liberty exemplifies the beauty, intelligence and superb trainability of the Lusitano and Andalusian breeds. This mare is happy on the trails in the woods or on the beach and has begun training working with cattle and loves it!! Really is no surprise as her sire, IMPERADOR, was used in bull fights. She has very comfortable gaits with a balanced uphill canter that is easy to extend and collect.
Liberty has always been healthy, sound and no lameness issues. She is quiet and well behaved for the vet and farrier. Loads easily and travels well. No vices. Happy in a stall or turned out in a paddock alone or with other horses. Stands quietly at the mounting block. Always well mannered at home and shows.
Liberty has recent X-rays on file and is current on all her health and dental.
