Limmerick Son is a 17+ hand 2003 registered/passported Irish Sport Horse by Approved Holsteiner and top Irish Showjumping Stallion, Limmerick. Limmerick is sired by Lancer II, by Landgraf I (Ladykiller). Limmerick Son won top ribbons in dressage and the 1.10m in Europe, foxhunted lightly, and was imported in 2009. Shown lightly in the Level 4 and 5 in the US. He has big movement, and a powerful jump. Schooled 4'9", and demonstrates a ton of scope. Auto lead change, naturally well-balanced canter, and explodes off the ground. Takes a joke and super brave to the jumps, but equally as careful, and has a great hind end. Hacks out xc, excellent ground manners, safe for an amateur, with Grand Prix potential. Great feet, easy keeper, no-maintenance horse with a goofy personality. With more miles, would double in the Big Eq, and will debut in the Hunter Derbys this year.
