Lorino has shown thru I1 in Germany and PSG with a Young Rider in the US. He was imported 2 years ago and has helped his rider to earn her Bronze and Silver medals. Lorino is a very sweet and reliable gelding, he doesn't buck, rear or bolt. He loves to go on trail rides alone or in a group and is the same at home, at clinics and at shows. His owner is in college now and sadly we don't have anyone looking for a horse right now, we would love to keep him in the program.
For the last two years he was mostly ridden by his YR owner with some training rides added. Now he is in full training and is back to schooling I2/GP movements. He is suitable for most riders. Lorino is narrow and could be a good match for a taller rider but also for a more petite person! Lorino will give his rider time to figure him out without getting nervous in the progress!
If you are looking for a schoolmaster to learn on or if you are working towards your USDF medals, he could be a good match! Lorino could also be a great partner for a timid rider or somebody who needs a horse who feels the same every day! He goes really well in side reins and also halter lunges perfectly on his days off! But there is never a time where he needs to be lunged before riding!
Lorino is up to date on everything. He doesn't require any maintenance at this point! He is on a routinely chiropractic and body work schedule and enjoys to wear the Bemer blanket before his work outs! Lorino wears 4 regular shoes. He does have an FEI passport. You can find his USDF scores under Lorino. He can be turned out by himself or other horses. Right now he has a stall with a small run attached and is turned out 2 hours per day.
X-rays from previous pre-purchase exam are available. Price is negotiable to the right home.
