Talented and trainable gelding schooled to third level. This beautiful boy, loves to work, and shows a high level of ability for the collected work. He is already showing a good piaffe, schooling pirouettes, does his changes, and is always using his hind leg.
He is sired by Sir Gregory out of a Welt Hit II mare. This long legged and extremely elegant horse stands 16.2hh tall and is born in 2012. He has three high quality gaits, including an uphill canter and an articulate trot, he is built to be naturally on the bit and is light in the contact. He is eager to please under saddle and rides in a snaffle (or a double).
AA owner enjoyed LV in Florida for the past 1.5 years before moving back up north. LV has been out of work for the past couple of months due to no fault of his own as I have no riding facilities at my personal backyard farm. I purchased LV with zero dressage riding experience and LV was forgiving of my lack of dressage riding skills as I came from the complete opposite sport – western!
LV has trail ridden alone and with other horses down the canal paths in Florida. He is even used to riding past cows.
I never showed him as I have no interest in showing dressage but he did show as a young horse. We also practiced western dressage.
He loves to be loved and can spend hours being groomed and fussed over, he is a real pet who craves and accepts all the attention he can get. Can be stalled or turned out 24/7 (he is currently out 24/7 with a miniature horse mare). He is low man on the totem pole and gets along with every horse, including mares. He is a gentleman to trailer and loads right on. Stands for farrier and vet.
Requires a little maintenance. No vices. Does have shivers which doesn’t affect his performance under saddle.
** His price reflects shivers and quick sale for owner who will be traveling out of the country shortly. I don't have any dressage contacts up north or know much about dressage. He has been sitting at my home farm in a field since we got back home from Florida in the middle of May (I do not have a riding arena) - he is priced right for someone looking for a quick flip or a client with a low budget. If he does not sell, he will be sent back down to Florida while I am away and price will increase with further training.
