Lua Azulada is a fancy old style baroque, dapple grey, Pure Spanish Mare. She stands at 15.2hh and is rising 6 years old in 2013. Her Sire Xerox HM is a Cremello PSL who was sired by the three time national champion Queito. On her dams side, she has the great bay PRE Stallion Bravio. Lua is also proven dam to a lovely Filly out of Mystiques Padrino.
Lua is coming late to her formal dressage training as she spent her first 2 years under saddle out on trails and on a working cattle farm. During which time she also had a significant amount of natural horsemanship training (both in hand and under saddle). In late summer 2012 Lua started her formal training and also complete 30 days with top Dressage trainer Janine Little in November. Her movement is very smooth to ride and she has a nice forward rhythm in all three of her gaits. Lua is a brave, willing partner that is a joy to ride both in and outside of the ring. Due to a lack of training facility on site Lua is frequently hauled to different equestrian centers for training and because of this, she has a calm take on the world demeanor when presented to no surroundings. She would be a great fit for someone looking for a gentle young horse who still needs to progress in some formal training yet has a solid foundation.
