Luau LMC, affectionately called Louie, is a 15.1hh 7yo grey IALHA registered Andalusian/Trakehner cross. He is inquisitive, sensitive, intelligent, and the most in-your-pocket horse I have ever met!
Louie has had 2 years of professional training and has been brought along slowly and methodically, taking into account the late physical development of the Iberian horses. Over the past year, he has bloomed wonderfully and is developing quite a presence!
Started in a bosal, he rides almost entirely off the seat and leg and is most comfortable with an educated and confident rider. He carries himself well and has a lovely aptitude for lateral work and collection.
Louie has 3 fantastic gaits and a golden retriever personality that would make him the favorite of any well-educated rider looking for a fancy horse in a smaller package.
He hacks out regularly and has been camping in WV, ridden in the Shenandoah Valley, been to schooling shows in western dressage and competitive trail/obstacle courses, and has been exposed to all of the elements of working equitation including cattle. He has been free-jumped and gone cross-country schooling a handful of times. Louie could continue development in any direction!
Louie will excel in a home where he can enjoy regular adventures. The last thing he wants is to be bored!
Please no beginners or timid riders, he needs the support of a confident rider.
