Lucca is a forward thinking, sensitive but sensible young horse with unlimited potential in the dressage ring. Her brave personality, flashy four white socks, and blaze give her that special presence that judges notice. Bred by Oak Hill Ranch, she was both the top filly of her foal inspection and again received the highest marks at her Mare Inspection by the NADWA with 8's on all of her gaits at both inspections. This spring Lucca was selected to participate in the prestigious USDF Sport Horse Prospect Development Forum with Willy Arts and Michael Bragdell and has competed in Materiale classes with scores into the 70's. She loves the attention at shows and is easy to haul.

Lucca's first class gaits combined with her very sweet and engaging personality will make her a competitive dream for a professional or an experienced AA/JR/YR to bring up the levels. She is in full training with USDF Gold Medalist Erika-West Danque schooling all movements in first level. Luca is ready to show through the young horses classes or excel at training level.

Her sire Richman is a licensed Danish Warmblood Stallion DVH 784. Approved GOV, KWPN. Dressage Elegance! Imported from Denmark, Richman has established himself in Europe with a successful career as a breeding stallion and an FEI dressage competitor. Richman is a lovely type with gaits, athletic ability, and bloodlines to produce for the hunter/ jumper ring as well as FEI dressage. Hunter Good Looks! Richman is the perfect example of the modern type warmblood stallion. He possesses elegance without sacrificing substance, has excellent conformation including a beautiful head and eye, and tops it off with a great work ethic and disposition.

The damsire, Don Schufro, has now been number one in the German dressage index no less than 10 times. In the WBFSH ranking of dressage stallions with progeny in international Grand Prix, he ranks 11th for 2015. He has sired 30 licensed sons and Oldenburg Mare of the year twice, with Blue Hors Rebelle and Weihegold, not to mention Danish Warmblood Mare of the Year three times. In total, more than 20 medal mares, four of which were awarded the gold medal.
