Lucianno (or Gucci as he is called around the barn) is a 2013, 16.1 hh Holsteiner gelding by Limoncello II out of an Ariadus (Rantares) mare. He is the spitting image of his gorgeous father, and he also has his father’s amazing temperament. Gucci LOVES people and is very fun and easy to work with at home or at shows. He is very easy to work with: clips, bathes, trailers, good for the farrier and vet.
Gucci has spent time in Florida, earning ribbons in both dressage and H/J, encluding scores in the high 60's in Wellington and multiple blue ribbon at training level dressage. He travels like a seasoned athlete, walking off the trailer happy and ready to get to work. Shows are incredibly fun for him, and he also loves to trail ride or just hang out in the pasture. He is always the first to greet you in turnout.
Gucci is very brave, fun-loving and loves to be involved in whatever you might be doing. He has no spook, buck or bolt. He is always a fun guy to work with around the barn and at shows.
He has three beautiful, comfortable gaits; you can see the FEI potential in him. His uphill canter is naturally balanced, and he is already offering up clean changes. His trot has a lovely cadence, with the front and hind feet match perfectly. His walk has clean, four-beats with a lot of over-stride…everything the judges are hoping to see in the arena!
Gucci is straight-forward, easy to ride, and very accepting of aids. He is extremely smart, willing and learns exceptionally quickly. Because he is five and still learning, Gucci is best suited for a rider who is comfortable with young horses. He is continuing to learn and advance daily and would do best in a training program that will help develop his FEI potential.
Gucci is currently in full training with USDF Gold Medal rider Simone Ahern in Elbert, CO (90 min from Denver International Airport and 30 minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport).
