Golden dream horse! 4 year old (2017) palomino lusitano mare (IALHA S/P), 15.2 hands (will finish 15.3 range). Perfect horse for an amateur to bring up to FEI-- sensible, easy, trainable, willing. Hop on with no lunging even after a few weeks off. She has been lightly and carefully started with frequent breaks and lots of positive exposure. Shown materiale and training level with scores to 72%, hacks on trails on the buckle (with cows and bridges and bikes and strollers), hauls and stands quietly at the trailer. Ready to show training level, schooling leg yields and lengthenings (did I mention SO trainable?). Been with FEI trainer from day 1, so straight, bends evenly, takes the contact, light to the leg and hand-- that rare combination of super calm yet forward! Snuggly and sweet on the ground (falls asleep in the crossties), good with kids. Not for a beginner due to her young age, but easy to ride for a competent rider and perfect for an amateur wanting to train a horse up the levels-- she's naturally uphill and is bred for collection, has a super walk and canter, and clear aptitude for piaffe and passage--and, as a bonus, a beautiful golden coat! By the IALHA 2020 Grand Prix National Champion, Xerez de Quintana. Barefoot and sound with absolutely no issues, happy to live either in stall or pasture. Located in the SF bay area.
