Larue we call......ROO.
I have been breeding for over 30 yrs and he is definitely in the top three youngsters I ever bred.
He has an unbelievable bloodline his sire is the captivating Limoncello II Holsteiner from Germany ....his dam is Niyya a Holsteiner jumper .....daughter of Ranteras ....dressage horse of the year and the so loved Cor de la Bryere.
.....breathtaking and beautiful.....
He has lovely confirmation...he is powerful and athletic unlike most young horses you will see he carries a powerful Pedigree and he has a lovely temperament
He follows me around like a puppy dog ....he really does want to go and do something now that he’s five years old and going nicely under saddle ..... he has been off to several places .... different indoor arenas ....some trail riding ...a few riders
He is doing great!
He would do best with a talented ambitious rider ....I see him as a true performer ....although he’s also in your pocket.... be your best friend kind a guy
I see no reason Why he should not be a top jumper ....super fancy Hunter or even a nice upper level dressage horse
I bred him to be my own event horse
I breed every horse to excel at all disciplines and yet have a lovely agreeable temperament and to be fairly good looking as well
We believe in starting these German horses slowly ....lots of handling and love ...ponying down the trail ....a little bit of free jumping here and there ....but their brain and body takes a while to fuse and we find that if we are slow consistent and methodical without pushing them and forcing them into a package they can last a lifetime ....as opposed to so many other horses that sadly do not last ....
Denver can be as close as five hours.... it is a beautiful drive I am 45 minutes from Telluride ski resort I am 15 minutes to the Ouray Hot Springs 10 minutes to the Orvis Hot Springs and 20 minutes to the montrose airport he is worth the drive
I am located 18 miles south of Montrose and 11 miles north of Ridgway Colorado in the San Juan Mountains
I have bred many Limoncello II youngsters over the last 10 years and that is because I think he has such a great stallion I believe he will be 16.2 hands like his mom and dad
Currently he is a little over 16.1 hands I do live at a higher elevation almost 8000 feet and so are horses grow a bit stronger and all ways
please feel free to call or text me for more photos videos or information
I really am not interested in trainers wanting to flip him
I would prefer he make a great connection with someone who is knowledgeable skilled and committed
A Once in a lifetime horse
I am looking to make the right match for him and find him his committed forever home
I also have a younger half-brother for sale
The pictures are from various moments in his life .....the first video is his father Limoncello II.... when he was in Germany..... the second video is his mom Niyya just a couple weeks after her fourth consecutive foal and the last video is clips of Larue through his life and through his training ......sadly there’s one or two black spots that you have to be patient and wait for them to pass in the video
Please contact me for current photos and videos
