Schoolmaster shown I-2, schooling Grand Prix

Luke has shown 1st level through Intermediate 2, adult amateurs and open, with scores up to the mid-60’s. He is not a horse for winning championships, though he does qualify and compete every year. He’s schooling GP, with his piaffe being a highlight and one tempis still developing.

Luke is about as safe a horse as one can find. We were told he was used as a para-horse in Spain, before we bought him. Trainer Allida Taylor chose Luke to take her toddler son for his first ride on horseback. He will take care of his person under saddle. He will also teach riders how to ride correctly and has the patience to withstand some mistakes. He has the smooth PRE gaits that make him easy to sit.

Luke loves trails and is the horse we use to pony the youngsters off of. He's perfect for someone who wants to learn the upper levels or gain confidence and experience on a safe horse. Luke has been a beloved member of our family and we are eager to find him a great new home.
