MacKays Merlot is a 7-year old GOV mare by REDWINE who is in foal to BANDERAS.

Merlot stands 16hh with very correct conformation.  She is a very beautiful mare with a presence to her that stands out in a crowd. She is bred for the hunter ring, has some show experience being ridden by a novice, but has primarily been a broodmare.  She is currently in foal, and also has a 2-year old colt by Bon Balou that shows huge promise as a hunter.  With an amateur friendly brain to complete the package she will make an excellent addition to any breeding program.  She is also perfectly sound and capable of going back to work.

Her foal by Banderas can be purchased separately, and is due May 2017.
