He is a big, flashy and floating mover, with lots of suspension in the trot, a nice canter and a great walk.
He is schooling third level dressage. He has good, clean and easy flying changes and great lateral work.
It won't take long to move him up the levels and make a very fancy upper level dressage horse out of him!
He used to be a hunter jumper and has lots of show experience, but decided he rather be a dressage horse now.
He is good on trails and will go out alone.
He is very responsive and easy to ride, is light on the aids and is forward thinking. But he is not hot or touchy and isn't spooky. He goes easy and steady on the bit and is comfy to sit. He never bucked with me or reared or did anything scary.
He loads and trailers well, in a good size/horse size trailer and behaves great at new places.
He is a Hanoverian and was imported from Europe, but I don't have his papers. He was caught in the middle of a divorce and had some time off, not due to his fault.
He is amateur safe, but not suited for a beginner.
He likes a light rider, someone that doesn't need to kick and pull. He is forgiving if the rider makes mistakes and is a great horse to learn on and move up the levels.
He has a calm temperament and sweet disposition.
I don't know of any old injuries and he isn't on any supplements or maintenance.
He is an easy keeper, but he is a cribber. A collar will stop it.
He has good ground manners, good feet and is sound.
