Maisey, or Ultimate Keziah is her registered name, is a beautiful gray mare with great conformation, nice movement and a sweet personality.

Maisey is a Dutch Warmblood Thoroughbred cross, registered as Canadian Warmblood. She's been inspected by International Sporthorse Registry's Christian Schacht in 2012 and was accepted into the Oldenburg Registry North America's Main Mare Book with a score of 103 for quality of conformation and appearance. In addition, she scored 75 on her performance test, with all scores 7 or better, an 8 on ride ability (see attached video from ISR Inspection) and a 7.5 on free jumping ability.

I have enjoyed Maisey as my pleasure mount since she was four and have done trail riding and dressage with her. Although she does love to jump, I don't jump, and so she has very limited experience and only really with a professional or my very experienced daughter. She has great footwork and does hunt the distances.

Maisey is a mount for a rider with soft aids; she is very sensitive and can be ridden almost entirely from the seat on the flat. Although her temperament can be a 1, I gave her a 5 because she will challenge a new rider, needs time to form a trust with a new rider.

Maisey and I have trained with (in order of frequency): Sara McGowan, Shelly Reichart, Tori Polonitza, and Jane Bartle Wilson. I am currently sharing the ride with trainer Bonnie Bowman.

Before I purchased Maisey, she completed a Young Horse Event at Rebecca Farms & a Beginner Novice event at Aspen Farms in 2010.

Maisey has great feet and is barefoot (love those farrier bills:). She has had no soundness issues, no injections….the most cost-easy horse I've ever owned!

Maisey has very good ground manners, turns out with other mares well, and is an absolute flirt. She will ground tie and follows me like a dog. While she is very much a pet, I have insisted that she is respectful and she is truly a charming horse.
