3/4 Friesian, 1/4 Trakehner coming 4 year old gelding with movement for upper level dressage! Major Tom has 3 very nice, balanced gaits, and has had extensive ground work done. He is ready ready for his rider. Standing currently at 16.1 hands, he is still growing and will likely finish around 16.3+.

Major Tom was evaluated by an FEI dressage trainer/judge who is available to contact upon request.

This smart and sensitive horse has shown excellent work ethic so far. He ties, clips, loads, bathes, and is a truly sweet natured horse. He needs an experienced, confident rider as he has not been backed yet. I have handled him extensively. Ground manners are very important to me! He lunges with side reins, started ground driving, accepts a saddle, and has been exposed to many "scary" things. I free jumped him and he seems to have an aptitude for it, so could even make a nice 3 day eventing horse. He will just about anything you ask of him if you handle him with confidence. If you are wanting a horse to take you up the levels and grow and learn with, he could be the perfect horse for you.

Both sire and dam are registered, so he can be registered with the Friesian Sporhorse Association. I have not sent his papers in yet, but have copies of both parents papers. I purchased him directly from the breeder as a yearling.
