Makala is a beautiful and in-your-pocket sweet filly by Makuba out of a First Premium ASPR WelshX mare. She is chestnut with 3 stockings and a blaze--- VERY flashy! She is the perfect dressage type pony who looks and moves like a small Warmblood. Micheal Ippolito, who's trained with Arthur Kottas and Charles de Kunffy, sees her often and calls her "something special". At the 2006 USDF/USEF breed show, she placed third in American Bred Horses with an "8" for conformation and the Judge's comment of "Good Sport Pony Type; Well proportioned". She'll mature between 14.1 and 14.2 hands. She was born on my farm and has been handled daily. She loves people and kids. Her training has been slow and thourough. Makala is smart and eager to please. She has a great work ethic, and catches on fast. "Mak" has been on several trail rides, and she has been to two dressage shows and was wonderful and placed well.
