PREs have a well-founded reputation for being people friendly, but this guy is in a league of his own! He absolutely adores people - his ideal life would be to come home and curl up with you on the couch. Mambo is also one of the most intelligent horses I’ve run across. He is observant, figures out patterns quickly, and really wants to please. Combined with what my students call his movie star good looks, he is an incredibly unique horse with a remarkable personality.

Coming from a prestigious breeding farm in Spain, he was carefully started there by an FEI dressage trainer, and then imported to the USA. Currently in full time professional dressage training, he is schooling 1st and 2nd level movements, and has a start in developing piaffe, for which he shows great talent.

Mambo is light on the aids and very comfortable to sit. He never seems to get "looky" at anything, and in fact, whenever poles are laid out or anything unusual is in the arena, he is usually more drawn to them than otherwise! This aspect of his character and his task oriented nature make me think he could also be a good working equitation prospect.

Mambo is healthy, has no vices, and comes with a full set of clean X-rays. He is easy to handle - anything that involves people touching him or hanging around with him he’d gladly do all day! Loading, standing for farrier, etc are also no problem. Please inquire for video and more information.
