Doulton is a colt full of presence and has plenty of wow factor. He is by the RID stallion Bridon Belfrey by Snowford Bellman and is out of our imported foundation RID mare Hawklands Silver Rose. His dam is by the deceased stallion Hawklands Silver Prince by Silver Jasper who show jumped and did working hunters in England before being leased to Ireland. Hawklands Blue Heather the colt's Grandmother through the dam line was a hornby premium mare in England who was by Timahoe Heather and was out of the champion RID mare Roma Blue Wind. The colt has superb bloodlines and such correct conformation and movement that he maybe worth well looking as a stallion prospect. He would also make a incredible gelding to compete on in jumping or dressage. I have the full brother to Doulton who is my own personal dressage horse that has huge potential to go all the way up the levels and I have no doubt that Doulton could do the same. This colt is going to be just as nice as his full brother! Doulton was color DNA and is a hetrozygous grey so has just one copy of the grey gene, so will be able to throw color. He is a dark liver chestnut at present and is going even darker all the time. He should eventually turn into a beautiful dapple grey just like his Grandsire.
