Marburg's Marlene boasts an exceptional Hosteiner pedigree. She is a direct daughter of the influential stallion Cicero, who is a full brother to the stallion Cavalier Royale. She is out of an imported Marlon daughter, Marburg (Simpatica). Marlene was entered into the AHHA Main Mare Book in 2000, with scores of 7 for her type and her excellent trot. Marlene's third dam, Fiance, is a full sister to the renowned Holsteiner stallion, Lord. In addition to her AHHA status, she is also in the BWP Belgian Warmblood Mare Book.

Marlene is a proven broodmare. Her last filly in 2008, by Cabardino, was a premium foal. Her foals are Verband eligible.

While she has spent most of her life as a broodmare she is very well started under saddle in dressage and has had some jumping experience. She is simple to ride with good forward movement. She is currently in full training for dressage. She is easy to handle and stands well for the vet and farrier. A very sweet, affectionate mare looking for someone to be her special person.
