Rocky is that unicorn that every is looking for. Fantastic movement, stellar character and impeccable manners combine to make him the barn favorite. He has been breeder raised with careful attention to his development. Started under saddle at 3 and training resumed at 4. He competed in his first schooling show and won his Intro A class with respectable scores under a tough judge. Rocky has many field trips off farm and is the same horse on or off property (with slightly more go at the show).
This exceptional youngster was started under saddle by my teenage daughter under supervision of an FEI trainer. Riding him is a dream with easy to sit gaits, sensible yet sensitive nature (he’s waiting to hear what you have to say) light to leg and soft in the bridle.
Trail rides out by himself with no drama, just an easy fellow in every way.
No vices, great stable manners, cross ties, loads well, farrier’s favorite, great for the vet and gets along with others in turnout (even those cranky mares). There’s not enough good things to say about this guy.
The character he exhibits is no surprise considering his breeding. Sire Dacaprio produces exceptional impulsion, elasticity and modern type as well as rideability and trainability. In Europe, he has sired stallion licensing Champions, States Premium mares, Elite Auction horses and Gold Medal foals.
Dam Rhodesia was our farm favorite as a nanny, her sire Routinier is known for producting fantastic character, great work ethic and solid, substantial athletes.
