Maximo is a 2011 PRE gelding standing at 16 hands. Maximo would love to be someone’s partner and best friend. He is kind, confident and has a fabulous temperament. Maximo is a gentleman and maintains his good ground manners at home and when traveling. He trailers and stands by the trailer quietly. He loves trail rides and is comfortable out alone or with friends. Maximo is just an easy horse to be around. He is willing, focused and forward in his dressage work, but is flexible enough to be your trail horse and even jump every so often.

Maximo has an outstanding show record; He earned the CDS Sporthorse award for 3 yr olds in 2014; placed 7th in a highly competitive CDS Futurity Class at the Regional Championships in 2017. In addition he earned the USPRE COPA Champion for the 6 year old FEI level division. He recently competed at Prix St.George and is working on Intermediare I movements. His super temperament translates to the show arena and gives even a slightly timid rider the change to focus on the dressage test.

Maximo was purchased as a 2 year old by a native German dressage trainer, and USDF Gold Medalist who has been training him consistently from the beginning. Occasionally, Max has been used in lessons for lower level riders teaching them correct contact, to riding their first flying changes. He is a great confidence builder!

Maximo would be the perfect partner for someone who would want to learn dressage, take lessons, go to clinics and/or shows, trail riding with friends and enjoying a pleasant horse in the barn. He is an easy keeper, has good feet and no health issues. He passed a PPE including 12 x-rays mid September.

He is super sweet, has no vices and a really good mind.
