Max has the cuteness of the Welsh with the beautiful and powerful movement of a Warmblood. He is currently schooling second level dressage with huge success and shows potential to move towards FEI quickly. He has been jumped a few times and demonstrates a beautiful hunter-like jump with ease. He jumps everything he is asked to from cross rails to verticals and picket fences to grids. He has the bravery of an event horse and has cross-country schooled through water, over ditches, up and down banks and over logs with no problem and a quiet demeanor. Max has been trail ridden excessively alone or in groups and is a fantastic trail mount. He trailers easily and stands quietly alone or with others. He has the same sane-mind on and off property. He is quiet, even a bit cuddly, with the vet and farrier. He clips, straight or cross ties, and ground ties. He stands perfectly to be tacked, untacked, hosed and groomed. He is gentle with young children and safe enough for an inexperienced rider to walk around on. Max is completely quiet in wind, thunder, rain, around dogs, strollers, bikers, cars and trucks traveling 60+ mph, overhead helicopters. etc. You name it, he does not react to it. He has absolutely no vices. He has beautiful confirmation and has never been lame. He will pass a pre-purchase vet check with flying colors.
Max has a stellar personality with a sweet, willing nature. He is smart, talented, has a fantastic work-ethic and beautiful gaits.
