McQueen is a 4 year old KWPN registered gelding that currently stands at 16H(expected to finish approx 16.1). "Mick" is extremely laid back in the barn and has excellent ground manners. He ties, clips, loads, stands for farrier and vet, etc. He goes out in a herd of geldings and is an overall easy keeper. Additionally, Mick has had extensive ground work done and knows everything from basic lunging to sidepassing. He was started lightly as a 3 year old and has been in training with a FEI rider and trainer. Currently he is schooling all of the training level work very well and has started basic lateral work and lengthenings. He shows three good gaits that have good natural rhythm and he goes nicely to the riders hand already. Mick would make an excellent horse to show Training and possibly First Level in 2022. We feel he has potential to make an upper level horse with proper training and progression. He would be best suited for either an adult amateur in a training program or a professional as he does have the rare "young horse" moment and needs a solid continuation of his training to develop a "steady eddy" mentality. We have clean x-rays of his hocks from July 2021 and he is up to date on all vet work. Rider in photos/video is 5'9".
