Melting Hearts (Maple) is a 3 year old, 15.2hh (and growing) Oldenburg/TB filly. Maple is a kind, sensible girl for loads of potential for a number of jobs. She was started under saddle this spring and has proven to have an excellent brain. She’s doing basic flatwork in the arena WTC. Maple has a big step with three balanced, comfortable gaits. She’s done a bunch of trail riding and is quiet and confident going out on her own or with company. She’s the same quiet, easy going girl whether she’s ridden everyday or given a few days off. She hasn’t been started over fences due to her age, but had one little intro to jumping through the jump chute and was brave and willing with good technique. She’s done some cavaletti’s and poles in the arena and is happy to walk over logs in the field. Maple is sweet and easy to work around in the barn. She’s polite with good ground manners. She stands nicely tied or on the cross ties, bathes, loads easily and is good for the vet and farrier. She’s spent her entire life living out with a herd, but is also happy and relaxed in the stall. She has no history of any health or sound issues, no vices, has clean/straight legs and big, solid feet. With her super brain Maple would be an excellent prospect for an AA or junior to bring along with help from a trainer, but she also has plenty of ability to be a nice prospect for a pro.
