Mercury II "Merlin" is a stunning FEI prospect that has shown successfully at second level and is ready to move on. He would excel as a horse for the professional or serious competitor, but has a temperament suitable for an Adult Amateur or Junior rider.

This horse has a big future ahead of him with ground-covering, uphill movement and a powerful, correct hind end. He has started piaffe and exhibits natural talent for it. He was quoted as having "8's on all gaits" by 'S' judge Tom Poulin. He has good character, a great work ethic, a sound mind and is truly a pleasure to work with. Merlin is sadly for sale due to owner leaving for college. Will continue showing and training until sold.

Merlin is also a great hunter or jumper prospect.

Dam LULU has been upgraded to STAR mare on account of her consistently excellent foal crop.

Russian FEI trainer Peter Grigorieb commented on Merlin as having 'more movement than Ulla Salzgeber's Rusty,' and being so naturally talented that 'putting him in a double bridle will have him confirmed in piaffe and passage within two months.'
